Tel Aviv: An opinion poll shows that 58 percent of Israelis want Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign immediately. In the survey conducted by N12, only 28 percent of people support Netanyahu. 48 percent want Defense Minister Yoav Galant to resign, 50 percent want IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi to step down and 56 percent want Israel's Shin Bet chief Ronan Barr to resign. 54 percent of people are of the opinion that elections should be held early, while 37 percent of people want ministers Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot to step down immediately.
According to the survey, if elections are held now, Benny Gantz's National Unity Party will win 31 seats while Netanyahu's Likud Party will win only 18 seats. The poll predicted that Yesh Atid would win 15 seats and Shas, Yisrael Beytenu, and Otsma Yehudit would each win 10 seats. According to the survey, the currently ruling Netanyahu coalition will get 50 seats and the Gant and Yair Lapid coalition will get 65 seats.
Meanwhile, according to the KAN survey, the National Unity Party will win 29 seats, Likud Party 21, Yesh Atid 15, and Yisrael Beytenu 11 seats.
