In a recent update from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, a clear directive has been issued to address the prevailing confusion among devotees regarding the distribution of sacred 'prasad' offered to the deity. The Trust emphatically stated that there is currently no authorized online platform for the dissemination of this revered offering, dispelling any uncertainties that may have arisen due to the claims of certain online platforms.
Affirmed, "No vendor or agency has been officially appointed by the Trust to undertake the online distribution of Prasad." Despite the presence of such online offerings, some devotees, exemplified by Anil Paranjape from Mumbai, remain cautious. Expressing his skepticism, Paranjape, who directly contacted the Trust office, shared, "To dispel any doubts, I visited the Trust office to procure the prasad in bulk."
Upon his visit to the Trust office, Paranjape received 10 packets of 'elaichi dana' along with instructions to blend it with other prasad for further distribution. It's noteworthy that security measures in Ayodhya are stringent, prohibiting the transportation of prasad beyond designated checkpoints.
Prakash Gupta, the in-charge of the temple Trust camp office, emphasized, "The Ram temple Trust operates as a non-profit organization, and prasad is exclusively offered within the confines of the existing Ram temple to devotees. No online service has been initiated, and the distribution of Prasad remains free of cost. Caution is advised regarding online platforms, as the Trust has not granted authorization to any entity for this purpose."
